Low temperature steel pipe refers to the steel pipe used in low temperature environment below -10℃. The steel usually used at low temperature of -10~-196℃ is called low temperature steel, and the steel used at low temperature below -196℃ is called ultra-low temperature steel, which has enough notch toughness. Low temperature steel pipe is mainly used in the production of ethylene, propylene, urea, synthetic ammonia, compound chemical fertilizer and washing, purification, desulphurization and degreasing in pharmaceutical industry with petroleum, chemical, natural gas and coal as raw materials, as well as cryogenic equipment manufacturing, ultra-low temperature cold storage, transportation of ultra-low temperature liquefied gas pipeline and its pipe components. The production process of low temperature steel pipe mainly includes cold drawing and hot rolling.
High temperature steel pipe is the steel pipe used in high temperature environment. This kind of steel pipe needs to have certain high temperature resistance, will not decline in high temperature environment, but also has certain corrosion resistance. Material generally uses alloy steel and stainless steel; they have good chemical stability and high temperature strength. High temperature steel pipe is often used in exhaust pipe, heat treatment furnace, heat switch, incinerator and other pipeline projects that require heat resistance, because the medium in chemical pipeline, power plant boiler pipeline is mostly some high temperature gas, liquid, some also have certain corrosion.
