Pressure Service
Pressure piping refers to a tubular device used to transport gases or liquids by a certain pressure in a range of gases, liquefied gases, steam media or flammable, explosive, toxic, corrosive, liquid media with a maximum operating temperature above or equal to the standard boiling point and a nominal diameter greater than 25 mm. A pressure pipe is a part of a pipe that is used to transport, distribute, mix, separate, discharge, measure, control, and stop the flow of fluid. An assembly consisting of pipes, fittings, flanges, bolt connections, gaskets, valves, other components or pressed parts and supports. Its main purpose is to transport medium, for long-distance pipeline storage function, for industrial pipeline heat exchange function.
Pressure pipeline can be divided into:
1、low pressure pipeline, engineering pressure <1.6 MPa;
2、medium pressure pipeline, engineering pressure 1.6-6.4 MPa;
3、high pressure pipeline, engineering pressure 6.4-10 MPa;
4、ultra-high pressure pipeline, engineering pressure 10-20 MPa.
